Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9, 1976 in Beaumont Puy De Domme. Her parents encouraged her dentist, parents and a teacher, who both were teachers in the pursuit of her desire to perform in theatre. This contrasted with her previous desire to become a primate scientist because she was fascinated by monkeys. Her rise to fame as a young actress was swift and marked by a rapid rise to fame. In 1998, after completing her masters degree, she was asked to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is which is a French TV talent-scouting show that is run by Canal+. She also was awarded the top Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors. This led her to embark on a professional acting career. Though she was a student at The Institut Catholique de Paris and had a religious affiliation in her early years, Tautou is now averse to this upbringing, stating that she is not officially Catholic. In addition to her acting career she tried her hand at modeling. The model is also the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and has been referred to as the Chanel Muse. The model also has an love of photography. Recently, she presented an exhibit of her photographs at the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. She focuses her photography on famous people, the media and media who scrutinized her following her rise to fame with Amelie. Additionally, there are several photographs that show her own self. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major part in the film Le Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a worldwide box office success, and received accolades at award ceremonies around all over the world. It is currently one of the top-performing French film across the US. The years that followed the film, she appeared in a variety of films, in everything from British films to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles.
