Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress is known for her performances as The Resident's Dr. Sydney Hansen in NBC's drama Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her television debut breakthrough role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the team who wrote the movie Immortals.
